“Who protects you when you dream?”

Mona (Gro Swantje Kohlhof) wants to understand why her mother Marlene (Sandra Hüller) is so sure that her nightmares are real. The search takes her to a village and a strange hotel, where an old family curse is waiting. Michael Venus keeps Mona in the hotel's rooms and corridors, with the other guests and the staff always close by.
