Sleeping Dogs Lie

“Everyone has a secret”

Amy (Melinda Page Hamilton) is newly engaged to John (Bryce Johnson) when she tells him one thing from her college years, a truth she had meant to keep to herself. Bobcat Goldthwait stages the fallout at family dinners and in quiet rooms, where Amy's father Papa (Geoff Pierson) and the rest watch her smile hold. What carries the film is whether John can still look at the woman he proposed to.
