Sleepwalking

A child is left behind twice. Tara (AnnaSophia Robb), eleven, loses her mother Joleen (Charlize Theron) to a truck driver, and then loses her place with her uncle James (Nick Stahl) when the state steps in. William Maher follows James as he takes Tara from a foster home and drives from California to Utah, toward a father neither he nor Joleen ever meant to see again.
