Slingshot

“Some fears are darker than space.”

John (Casey Affleck) is an astronaut on a years-long mission to Saturn's moon Titan, and he has spent too long in a ship with two other people and nowhere to go. Under Captain Franks (Laurence Fishburne), the crew prepares a slingshot manoeuvre that will either carry them to Titan or throw them into deep space. Mikael Håfström keeps the cabin small and the talk clipped, and John keeps his own counsel, even as he begins to doubt what the mission is.
