In Lithuania, Elena (Greta Grinevičiūtė) works as a dancer and Dovydas (Kęstutis Cicėnas) as a sign language interpreter, and the two meet and take to each other almost at once. Marija Kavtaradzė follows them into the first weeks of a new relationship, where each has to work out what closeness will mean for the two of them. What passes between Elena and Dovydas is less a romance than a negotiation, carried out in touch and in gesture.
