Slums of Beverly Hills
“Growing up is hard to do.”
The Abromowitz family packs up and moves again, this time to another cheap apartment in 1976, because Murray (Alan Arkin) will pay any rent as long as it keeps his kids in the Beverly Hills school district. His daughter Vivian (Natasha Lyonne) is a teenager still working out how to live in her own body, and she does it in the back seat of a station wagon. Tamara Jenkins writes the family's constant moving as a running joke that never stops stinging.
