Small Soldiers

“Big movie.”

Alan Abernathy (Gregory Smith) is a teenager who helps out at his father's toy shop, and he gets a shipment of action figures before they have reached any store. The toys carry military microprocessors, which makes the soldiers in one faction take their battle programming seriously, and Joe Dante sets the war loose in a quiet suburb. Next door, Christy Fimple (Kirsten Dunst) and her family are in the way of it, and the fighting threatens their lives.
