“He's gone... Beyond nutty. Beyond wacky. Beyond zany!”

Warren Nefron (Jerry Lewis) has the worst luck of anyone alive, and even his foolproof plan to end it all falls apart in his hands. Out of options, he turns up at the office of Dr. Jonas Pletchick (Herb Edelman) to ask whether anything can be done about his troubles. Jerry Lewis, in his last film as director, strings the visit into a run of short sketches and blackout gags, where one man's misfortune is a plain fact the movie keeps laughing at.
