Snack Shack

“One summer can change everything.”

Summer 1991, Nebraska City. A.J. (Conor Sherry) and Moose (Gabriel LaBelle) are best friends whose home-brewed beer scheme has just fallen apart, so they take over the community pool's snack shack instead. Adam Rehmeier builds the film around their plans, and then Brooke (Mika Abdalla), a lifeguard who seems to need no one's approval, walks into the middle of them. The friendship the boys treat as permanent starts to look like a thing a single summer could wear out.
