“How far would you go to save your son?”

John Matthews (Dwayne Johnson) runs a construction company and has not been close to his son Jason for years. Then Jason is arrested for drug trafficking, and mandatory minimum laws mean a first-time offender faces a long prison term. Ric Roman Waugh follows John as he goes undercover for the DEA and prosecutor Joanne Keeghan (Susan Sarandon), giving them arrests big enough to buy his son's freedom, which turns a father's guilt into a bargain with the law.
