Snoopy Presents: Welcome Home, Franklin

“Happiness is new friends.”

Franklin (Caleb Bellavance) has just landed in a new town, and the neighborhood kids don't respond to any of the tricks he usually uses to make friends. Then the Soap Box Derby comes around, and the only other kid without a partner is Charlie Brown (Etienne Kellici). Raymond S. Persi has the two of them share one homemade racer, and it is the first Peanuts special built around Franklin, the strip's first Black character.
