Snow Angels

“Some will fall. Some will fly.”

One winter in a small Appalachian Pennsylvania town, Annie (Kate Beckinsale) waits tables at a restaurant where Arthur (Michael Angarano), a high school kid, also works. Her husband Glenn (Sam Rockwell), a suicidal drinker turned evangelical Christian, keeps showing up in her life, and his attempts to win her back only frighten her. David Gordon Green, adapting Stewart O'Nan's novel, films the cold and the small-town quiet without ever hurrying them.
