Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

(1938)Directed by David Hand83 min · GFantasy, Animation, Family
“The Happiest, Dopiest, Grumpiest, Sneeziest movie of the year.”

A mirror on the wall tells the Queen (Lucille La Verne) that her young stepdaughter is now the fairest in the land, and the answer sends her into a jealous fury. Snow White (Adriana Caselotti) runs into the forest and takes shelter in a small cottage belonging to seven dwarfs, including Doc (Roy Atwell). David Hand's film is the first American animated feature, and the Queen has not stopped looking for her.
