Stig-Helmer Olsson (Lasse Åberg) has never learned to ski, and still he is on his way to the Alps with his Norwegian friend Ole (Jon Skolmen) for a winter holiday. A ski school is the first thing on the schedule, and two women on the same trip, Lotta (Cecilia Walton) and Kärran (Eva Millberg), soon become part of the plan. Åberg builds the film out of ordinary people on holiday who are bad at the thing they came to do, and glad to be there anyway.
