Snowtown

“Australia's most infamous crime story”

Jamie Vlassakis (Lucas Pittaway) is sixteen and living with his mother in a poor Adelaide suburb when she brings home a new boyfriend, John Bunting (Daniel Henshall). John is friendly and easy to trust, and he gathers a crowd of men around him who call themselves neighborhood watchmen. Justin Kurzel, in his first feature, follows Jamie as he is drawn in, a boy who has never had a father and wants to be told he belongs somewhere.
