So Evil My Love

“Romantic obsession… A woman destroyed!”

It is the late nineteenth century, and a ship is crossing from Jamaica to England with malaria patients in its berths. Olivia Harwood (Ann Todd), a recent widow, takes on the task of nursing them, and one of the sick is Mark Bellis (Ray Milland), a painter who keeps his past to himself. Lewis Allen directs it as a Gothic thriller, with Geraldine Fitzgerald (as Susan Courtney) in the cast.
