“The honeymoon was killer.”

Charlie MacKenzie (Mike Myers) falls hard for Harriet Michaels (Nancy Travis), the butcher he meets just after a bad breakup. His parents, who read every sensational tabloid they can find, decide she is "Mrs. X," a woman wanted for a string of honeymoon killings. Thomas Schlamme keeps the whole thing deadpan, and Charlie proposes anyway, with Harriet behind her butcher shop counter, smiling, a cleaver in her hand.
