“The rich have always fed off the poor. This time, it's for real.”

Bill Whitney (Billy Warlock), a teenager in Beverly Hills, starts to suspect that his family belongs to a world he was never let into. His parents and his sister Jenny (Patrice Jennings) move easily among the city's wealthy, and Bill can't find where he fits. Brian Yuzna, in his first film as director, keeps Bill's suspicion mostly to himself, even about Nan (Connie Danese), the girlfriend who seems a little off too, until the dread has no place left to hide.
