Sodom and Gomorrah

“The cities that mocked the very name of God... The vengeance that tore the Earth asunder!”

Lot (Stewart Granger) is a patriarch who has led his people out of the desert to a fertile valley beside the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. When Queen Bera lets the Hebrews settle inside Sodom, Robert Aldrich fills the city with the opulence and vice of her court, and the newcomers' discipline starts to loosen. Lot's wife Ildith (Pier Angeli) is drawn to a life her husband's laws forbid, and the two begin to pull apart.
