Sofia

Sofia Lotfi (Maha Alemi), 20, lives with her parents in Casablanca and wants one thing as the night begins: for no one to find out she has just given birth. The hospital gives her 24 hours to produce the father's papers before it informs the authorities, and her cousin Lena (Sarah Perles) takes up the search with her. Meryem Benm'Barek-Aloïsi keeps the two young women side by side through every hour, the bond between them the only thing holding.
