“Never tell him the odds.”

Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) takes a job with the smuggler Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson), and it drags him deep into a criminal underworld ten years before the first Star Wars film. Along the way he meets Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) and the gambler Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover), with Qi'ra (Emilia Clarke) tied to his past. Ron Howard keeps the heist moving, and the story is about who a person trusts when everyone around him is working an angle.
