Some Kind of Hero

“Richard Pryor is in a new kind of comedy... about some kind of hero... in some kind of mess.”

Cpl. Eddie Keller (Richard Pryor) steps off the plane after years in a Vietnamese prison camp, greeted as a hero and then promptly forgotten. Back home, his money is gone, the bills are stacking up, and a heist offers a way to cover them. Michael Pressman gives him Toni Donovan (Margot Kidder), a woman who sees past the uniform and stays, and the two lean on each other when little else holds.
