Someone Behind the Door

“No memory, no name, no mind: This man will act out someone else's insanity and revenge.”

A man with no name and no memory turns up in Folkestone, and the neurosurgeon Laurence Jeffries (Anthony Perkins) brings him home. Laurence has a wife, Frances (Jill Ireland), who has been seeing someone else, and he has a plan for the stranger (Charles Bronson) that he explains to no one. Nicolas Gessner keeps Laurence polite and soft-spoken while he works, a doctor who has decided what his patient will be told.
