Someone Borrowed

Luiz (Caio Castro) is a lifelong bachelor with no plans to marry, but his mother is dying and wants to see him engaged before she goes. If he disappoints her, he is also cut out of her will. So he hires an actress, Lina (Thati Lopes), to play his fiancée. Cris D'amato sets the two of them up as employer and employee, a deal with terms, and the film is about what happens to that arrangement once they share a family.
