Somersault

“Love can turn you upside down.”

Heidi (Abbie Cornish), a teenager in Australia, wants somewhere she can stay and someone who will keep her. She gets neither at home, where she's caught with her mother's boyfriend and leaves with almost nothing. Cate Shortland follows her to Jindabyne, a tourist town where she meets Joe (Sam Worthington) at a bar, finds work and a room, and pushes toward a life that looks ordinary from the outside.
