“It's a thin line between love and friendship.”

One night after her 30th birthday, Rachel (Ginnifer Goodwin), a lawyer who has spent years being the good friend, wakes up beside Dex (Colin Egglesfield). He is engaged to her best friend Darcy (Kate Hudson). Luke Greenfield follows the fallout through the wedding season, with Ethan (John Krasinski) listening in the background. Rachel sits at her desk, the secret still on her, while Darcy asks about the invitations.
