Something to Talk About

“A story about husbands, wives, parents, children and other natural disasters.”

In a small Southern town where everyone knows everyone's business, Grace King Bichon (Julia Roberts) runs her father's riding stable and believes her marriage to Eddie (Dennis Quaid) is sound. Lasse Hallström follows her after she finds out about another woman and moves into her sister Emma Rae's house to decide what to do. Every opinion in the King family, including those of Wyly (Robert Duvall) and Georgia (Gena Rowlands), now bears down on her.
