Son

“You can't outrun a family secret.”

Eight years after Laura (Andi Matichak) escaped a cult, her young son David (Luke David Blumm) falls ill with a sickness no doctor can name. Ivan Kavanagh follows her as the people she ran from close in on the boy, and Laura starts to suspect that a sinister presence has already reached him. Detective Paul (Emile Hirsch) works the case from outside, while the closest thing to a verdict lives in how Laura looks at her son.
