“Their Empire. His Kingdom.”

Jesus (Diogo Morgado) comes to Jerusalem wanting to give people love and hope, in a land where Roman occupation brings heavy taxes and a constant, grinding fear. Christopher Spencer, adapting the miniseries The Bible, sets the high priest Caiaphas (Adrian Schiller) against him, as Caiaphas tries to hold his people in check under Pilate (Greg Hicks). Jesus keeps healing and preaching, and the men who dread a revolution begin to want him dead.
