Son of the South

“Founding grandson without a father...”

Bob Zellner (Lucas Till) is a white Alabama college student whose grandfather (Brian Dennehy) rode with the Klan, and who has to decide where he stands as the civil rights movement reaches Montgomery. Barry Alexander Brown adapts Zellner's own memoir, following him as he sides with the activists and pulls away from his family. His grandfather's house stays at the edge of every choice, the place he is leaving and cannot stop looking back at.
