Song of the Sea

(2014)Directed by Tomm Moore94 min · PGFamily, Animation, Fantasy
“Let the song of the sea sway your heart...”

Ben (David Rawle) was ten when his mother vanished, and his little sister Saoirse (Lucy O'Connell) has never spoken a word. Sent to live with their Granny (Fionnula Flanagan) in the city, they set out to find the way back to their lighthouse home by the sea. Tomm Moore draws Ben through the folktales his mother told him, and a boy who resents his sister begins to see what she is and what he owes her.
