A shadowy figure emerges from the past with powers that match Sonic's own, forcing the blue hedgehog and his friends into an unexpected alliance. Sonic (Ben Schwartz), Tails (Colleen O'Shaughnessey), and Knuckles (Idris Elba) race to uncover who Shadow (Keanu Reeves) is and what drives him, while Robotnik (Jim Carrey) pursues his own agenda.
