Sonnenallee

Micha (Alexander Scheer) and his friend Mario (Alexander Beyer) hang around the short, eastern end of the Sonnenallee in Berlin, a few steps from a border crossing meant only for German citizens. Leander Haußmann fills the street with relatives visiting from the West, border guards on their rounds, and teenagers who care mostly about pop records. For Micha, the stakes are a girl, Miriam (Teresa Weißbach), and whether he can reach her from the wrong side of the wall.
