In 1979, Magnus (Sven Nordin) and his son Nikolaj (Åsmund Høegh) put a hole through the wall of their new terrace house in Rykkinn. Magnus is an architect and a hippie, the one free spirit on a street that prizes sameness, and Jens Lien sets him against the neighbors. When Nikolaj stops caring what anyone thinks, his father backs him completely, and the two of them become partners in the rebellion.
