In the Korean countryside, with pansori losing its audience, the singer Yu-bong (Kim Myung-gon) raises two children to carry on the tradition, one voice and one drum. Im Kwon-taek follows the family on the road, where Song-hwa (Oh Jung-hae) sings and her brother Dong-ho (Kim Kyu-chul) keeps the beat. Everything the three of them have is bound up in a single song, and the closest tie is the one between sister and brother.
