(2020)Directed by Pete Docter101 min · PGAnimation, Family, Drama, Music, Fantasy
“Everybody has a soul. Joe Gardner is about to find his.”

Joe Gardner (Jamie Foxx) teaches middle school band, but all he wants is to play jazz for a living, and a tryout at the Half Note Club finally gives him his chance. Then an accident pulls his soul out of his body and drops it in the You Seminar, where Pete Docter has the unborn souls wait to be given their passions. Joe needs 22 (Tina Fey), a soul who has spent eons there, to get him home, and the two of them end up arguing over what makes a life worth living.
