Soul Food

“Every family needs some.”

Every Sunday, Mama Joe wants her three daughters around her table, and she has kept that tradition going for years. Sisters Teri (Vanessa Williams), Maxine (Vivica A. Fox) and Bird (Nia Long) keep showing up, but now they bring their marriages, money troubles and old grudges along. George Tillman Jr. gathers the whole family at that one table, and the weekly dinner itself is what's at risk.
