Sound of Violence

“Her Music Kills.”

Alexis (Jasmin Savoy Brown) was deaf until the night her family was murdered, when her hearing came back along with a synesthesia that turns sound into color. Now an adult, she finds comfort only in the noise of bodies being hurt, and in Alex Noyer's debut she starts staging her own sound experiments. She has been told her hearing may fail again, and her roommate Marie (Lili Simmons) is close enough to be caught in whatever she builds toward.
