Space Cadet

“Houston has a new problem.”

Rex Simpson (Emma Roberts) has wanted to go to space since she was a kid in Florida, and a doctored application gets her into NASA's astronaut training program. She is surrounded by cadets who earned their places, including Nadine Cai (Poppy Liu), and she has only her quick wits and moxie to get her through. Liz W. Garcia keeps Rex in the middle of it, a Florida girl in a flight suit with a lie she has to hold together.
