(2013)Directed by Shinji Aramaki115 min · PG-13Animation, Science Fiction

Humanity has spread across the galaxy and begun to crowd the stars, and the Gaia Coalition keeps order by force. Against it sails Captain Harlock (Shun Oguri), an outlaw whose warship the Arcadia draws in a young recruit named Yama (Haruma Miura). Shinji Aramaki builds the whole film in 3D computer animation, the largest such budget Japan had spent on an anime.
