Spaceballs

“May the schwartz be with you.”

Lone Starr (Bill Pullman), a rogue pilot with a conscience, rescues Princess Vespa (Daphne Zuniga) from the evil Dark Helmet (Rick Moranis) and his bumbling henchman Barf (John Candy) as they pursue her across space. The chase barrels through sci-fi tropes at breakneck speed, each obstacle more absurd than the last. Brooks treats the whole galaxy as a stage, letting his actors lean into the comedy without restraint.
