Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone

“Journey with Wolff and Niki, an interstellar adventurer and young rebel. On a mission to rescue three stranded women from a planet no one has warned them about. Because no one has ever returned.”

Wolff (Peter Strauss), a bounty hunter, flies to a planet of mutants to rescue three women from Earth who are being held by the warlord OverDog (Michael Ironside). Along the way he picks up a vagrant teenage girl, Nikki (Molly Ringwald), who knows the terrain better than he does. Lamont Johnson, working under executive producer Ivan Reitman, shot it in the polarized over/under 3-D format that studios were pushing in the early 1980s.
