Spanish Movie

“How Paranormal It All Is!”

In 2009 Spain, the most recent hits of its national cinema are fair game for a film that lifts their scenes and sets them in a row. Javier Ruiz Caldera directs Ramira (Alexandra Jiménez) and Laura (Silvia Abril) through the parody, with Carlos Areces as Pedro and Laia Alda as the Niño del saco. Every nod to a famous Spanish film is a gag the cast has to land with a straight face, or the whole joke falls flat.
