Sparrows

Ari (Atli Óskar Fjalarsson) is sixteen when his mother takes a job abroad and sends him from Reykjavík back to the small Icelandic town he grew up in. Rúnar Rúnarsson sets him down among old faces: his father Gunnar (Ingvar E. Sigurðsson), hit hard by the financial crisis, and Lara (Rakel Björk Björnsdóttir), the friend he left as a girl and now barely recognizes. Ari tries to find his place between the two of them.
