“Born in darkness. Sworn to justice.”

Al Simmons (Michael Jai White) is killed by the corrupt colleagues of a covert government agency, led by Jason Wynn (Martin Sheen), and strikes a bargain with the devil to see his wife Wanda (Theresa Randle) again. The price is command of Hell's army in the destruction of mankind. Mark A.Z. Dippé sends him back to Earth in a body that is no longer his, and he is now the one thing he has no way to explain to her.
