Speak

“The Truth Will Change Everything.”

Melinda Sordino (Kristen Stewart) starts her freshman year at a suburban high school without speaking, ever since she called the police on a summer party and her old friends decided she was a rat. Her parents, including Joyce (Elizabeth Perkins), are too busy to notice, and the one place she can breathe is the art room of Mr. Freeman (Steve Zahn). Jessica Sharzer watches her fold inward, a girl carrying one thing she can't say.
