“Hear no evil.”

Ben Dalton (Scoot McNairy) and his wife Louise (Mackenzie Davis) take their daughter Agnes (Alix West Lefler) to a weekend at the country estate of Paddy (James McAvoy) and Ciara (Aisling Franciosi), the British couple they befriended on vacation. The invitation feels generous until the hosts start testing how far their guests will go to stay polite. James Watkins, remaking the 2022 Danish-Dutch film, keeps the camera close and lets the discomfort build slowly.
