“Survival. Honor. Sacrifice.”

Elsa Casanova (Diane Kruger), a war correspondent in Afghanistan, wants one thing once the Taliban take her hostage, which is to stay alive until someone reaches her. With her execution close, a Special Forces unit led by Commander Kovax (Djimon Hounsou) is sent to bring her home. Stéphane Rybojad films the pursuit across the hostile, beautiful landscapes, keeping the kidnappers and the soldiers locked in the same chase.
