Speech & Debate

“Life is a stage. Find your voice. Change the world.”

Solomon (Liam James) is a high school student who has grown tired of the adults around him, the parents and teachers and school board who say one thing and do another. He ends up with Diwata (Sarah Steele) and Howie (Austin P. McKenzie), two classmates who don't fit in anywhere either, and together they revive the school's defunct Speech & Debate club. Dan Harris adapts his story from the stage, and for Solomon the club becomes his one chance to be heard.
