“Smooth, fast and in high gear!”

Steve Grayson (Elvis Presley) is a stock car driver who wants to keep racing and keep what he earns from it. The trouble is Susan Jacks (Nancy Sinatra), the tax auditor sent to settle his account. Norman Taurog sets the two of them against each other, and each time she catches up with him, the attraction between them gets harder to ignore.
